There are many types of safety ropes, and if classified according to their purpose, they can be divided into three categories: horizontal safety ropes, vertical safety ropes, and fire safety ropes. Safety ropes with different functions have different characteristics:
1、 Horizontal safety rope
Horizontal safety rope refers to a safety rope used for horizontal movement operations on a steel frame. Because the safety rope needs to be installed horizontally, it is required that the rope have a small elongation and a high sliding rate. The rope is generally injection molded with steel wire rope, which has a small elongation. After injection molding, the appearance of the rope has good sliding performance, making it easy for the safety hook to move on the rope. Rope diameters are commonly used in sizes of 11mm and 13mm after injection molding, used in conjunction with rope clamps and flower basket screws. The rope is widely used in the installation of steel frames in thermal power generation projects, as well as the installation and maintenance of steel structural engineering.
2、 Vertical safety rope
Vertical safety rope refers to a protective rope used for vertical upward and downward movement of steel frames. Generally used in conjunction with climbing self-locking devices, the requirements for ropes are not too high. Woven and twisted ropes can be used, but the tensile strength required by the national regulations must be met. The diameter of the rope should be between 16mm-18mm in order to achieve the required diameter for climbing self-locking devices to lock. The length of the rope is determined by the height of the work. One end of the rope is buckled, and one safety card lock is provided. The length can be customized according to the customer's requirements.
3、 Fire safety rope
Fire safety cables are mainly used for high-rise escape. It comes in two types: weaving and twisting, emphasizing its strength, lightness, and aesthetic appearance. The rope diameter is between 14mm-16mm, with a buckle at one end and a safety lock. The tensile strength meets the national standard. The length is 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m, 35m, 40m, 45m, 50m. You can also customize the length according to user requirements. This rope is widely used for modern high-rise and small high-rise building residents. The exterior wall cleaning rope is divided into main rope and auxiliary rope. The main rope is used to hang and clean the seat plate, while the auxiliary rope is used to prevent accidental falls. The diameter of the main rope is 18mm-20mm, and the rope is required to be sturdy, not loose twisted, and has high tensile strength. The diameter of the auxiliary rope is 14mm-18mm, and the standard is the same as other safety rope standards.
